First and important: Tough materials, high quality finish!
Super adjustable: Can use it for bottles or cans of nearly any size! You can even determine how far you want them protrude out of the holder.
Super versatile: Make it wide, stuff a rain jacket or else in it. Can even adjust it to make my (big) Garmin 64st GPS fit in it perfectly and mount it at the shoulder straps of my backpack.
Folds ultra flat when not in use.
Love it, highly recommended
Great customer service, fast shipping!
Vanquest people, please stay as you are!
Well made and well designed. Rugged, simple, functional and light weight . I purchased two.
This bottle holder will hold about any bottle within reason from small 16 ounce plastic ah the way to my 36ounce yeti rambler. When not in use in folds flat against your pack. Excellent design and quality. Wish I had found this before I wasted two times as much on maxpeditions large bottle holder.
This is great water bottle and so far the best I've seen. It works well with variety of bottle sizes, I use it most with 1L Nalgene, which fits perfectly. I'd give it 4.5 stars if there would be an option, but 4 stars because of small issues explained below.
It has hook and loop in the top part to keep it low profile when not in use. However, the hook and loop is only in the top which means the bottom part often sticks out - it would be great to have small hook and loop areas in the bottom part as well.
Additionally, the top hook and loop area is quite large and it require rather strong pull to open. Fortunately, there is a tab provided to make it easier. However, I have no idea why there is another tab on the other side - close to your pack - this is confusing, almost always I want to 'open' the holder I pull both tabs at the same time before I realize I need to put a special care to separate them and pull the external one only. Anyway, it is easy to fix with a sharp knife or scissors ;)
I am planning on buying another for my 5.11 daypack. Just for the fact that other companies I've used don't make these kind of quality products. Great build, and durable in the field.
Like all vanquest prouduts, they are well built, well thought out, and above all, well worth it. Innovative product line that keeps me coming back for more. Put mine on the side of my skitch15 for work carry. Be it water, coffee, etc. Keep up the GREAT work.
Bought this to go with a Skitch 15 messenger bag. Attaches really well to the side of the bag with the provided MOLLE straps. I also got the Vanquest water bottle and both are an awesome edition to the bag. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a well made, easily adjustable, water bottle holder.
Never had a water bottle holder on my backpack, but now I’m kind of sad I’ve lived my life without something like this.
I have 3 different sized bottles that all fit perfectly in the holster. WHEN not in use it lays flat and doesn’t create extra bulk.
Great accessory for my pack.
Now that I have your attention - this is a very high quality holder. Strapped it to the side of my waterproof fishing sling and adjusted it to fit (very easy adjustment) my grayl water bottle. Only the bottle cap and an inch of the bottle extend beyond the top of the holder so it is exceedingly secure. Slip a small carabiner onto the adjusting strap at the top of the holder, attach the carabiner to the bottle lid and there is no possibility of the bottle being lost, even if I take a bath while wading. If you pack doesn't have a bottle holder, this is a great strap on option to provide one.
