First off, looks right at home on my 5:11 Rush 72. I purchased this for keeping Trail Mix/Granola Bars/ Beef Jerky handy so I can eat on the move. It works so well for that, that I am going to grab another one for the other side of my pack.
I use the isopod as both a dump pouch for my on body edc and to carry my 48 oz water bottle. It's just what I needed to make my Mobius 2.0 that much more convenient. Quality is top notch which is exactly what you would expect from Vanquest. Highly recommend it.
I have a slinger right shoulder pack that I really like but the padded dividers aren’t of any use to me. In fact they took up needed space. I removed them and installed two isopod-small pouches in their place. A length of strap rigged with hook fabric was fitted onto each interior loop field and molle clips were used to hold the pouches in place. I put the pouches beside each other but on opposite sides. Now all my loose gear has a secure storage space and nothing floats around inside the pack. If my needs change and a pouch is empty it can fold up flat without being removed from the loop field strap.
I have this attached to my Falconer 27 when I use the pack for work. Perfect size to carry my travel cup containing my morning coffee. Easy to attach using molle sticks and when folded away you barely notice it.
Of course quality is top notch as expected from this company.
Very useful pouch. Has many uses. Love the way I can keep it attacked to my pack permanently and just leave it there nice and folded up when not in use. Really great product.
It is not particularly small though, I can fit (firmly) both my 800ml clean canteen and also my wifes inside it. So it would not be a snug fit for a 1 litre bottle.
works in perfect conjunction with my javelin and the molle sticks. wolf grey color is awesome too. fits large nalgene bottles as well. mutli purpose and folds up small. great design
Purchased online and this came with a damaged drawstring. So I sent an email and got a response from R&D. Mr Alex N. resolved the issue immediately and reassured me of a replacement and that it would be shipped straight away. Indeed! I received it faster than anticipated. Reputation of Vanquest products coupled with AWESOME customer service.. TOP-NOTCH COMPANY! Thank you Vanquest! Oh wait.. product review.haha Well, what can I say.. they are built very well. Excellent quality as all Vanquest products. I've used this a couple of times when shopping for some small stuff.. roomy!
I bought one of these as an add-on to the older version of the Trident because I wanted something to serve as a bottle holder. It's big enough for my Thermos 750ml flask. It goes up to about 80% of the flask height and holds it just fine. The material is excellent & feels really durable.
This thing got permanently attached to my Javelin and when folded out it can accept up to a 1.5l water bottle when needed (which is what I use it for), yet it hardly takes up any space when folded, making it much more versatile than a fixed water bottle pocket. The top flap can work as a lid or it can be velcro'd out of the way to have a large bottle or thermos sticking out the top. Drawstring is a little tough going to be effective, but that might loosen up over time. In short: Great quality in material, workmanship and concept.
