**MORE IMAGES TO COME... THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING**
2017 EDCM-HUGE 2.0 improvements: (1) easy access front slip pocket, (2) three position removable 6” (overall) double hook key chain tether.
EDCM-HUGE is the largest in the Everyday Carry Maximizer™ (EDCM) series, measuring at 8" (H) x 7" (W) x 2.5" (D). It features 24 of our “Maximizer” offset-stitched elastic channels, and 5 flat pockets to accommodate nearly every piece of your EDC gear. If you are looking that ONE portable “everything but the kitchen sink” organizer, the EDCM-HUGE is what you need.
Utilizing our signature "Maximizer" staggered/offset elastic loops, you get more use of the internal space than other pouches using elastic webbing with shared stitches.
There’s one large flat pocket on the left flap/cover panel and two horizontal flat pockets with a large zippered pocket on the right. A removable 6" double hook key chain tether can be placed on either side in any of the three 1” paracord loop positions. Total 24 elastic loop channels, including a 2.5"-wide elastic loop on the center spine.
EDCM-HUGE is perfect for building a fire, cooking, medical, tool, EDC or personal survival kit. With just enough room to load too much stuff into, every piece of your gear will find a home.
Pull handle and lockable #8 YKK zippers with circular paracord pulls for security and easy access. 1,000-D CORDURA® with TEFLON® by DuPont®, and MOLLE/PALS back panel further provide durability and modularity.
You can attach the pouch onto any MOLLE/PALS surface with MOLLE Sticks (#99MS5X4*); or convert it to a hook-and-loop attachment using the MOHL-Air adapter panel (#017700*); or use our 1" UNIVERSAL STRAP (#012001*) to carry it over your shoulder. *Optional accessories.*Optional accessories.
FAQ: What is a “Maximizer™”, and how is it better than the other EDC organizers I have?
Answer: VANQUEST® Maximizer™ is a series of improved organizers that use our proprietary Maximizer™ webbing to “maximize” the use of space. The Maximizer™ webbing uses staggered/offset elastic loop channels, and is 15.5% more efficient in saving space compared to traditional elastic loops with shared-stitching.
In nature, geometry of a honeycomb achieves the maximum use of space with minimal use of material and weight. In other words, VANQUEST® Maximizer’s staggered / offset elastic loops are like those hexagon units in a honeycomb (See diagram):
Given the objects stored all have the same diameter (e.g. a Sharpie, or a flashlight), each repeating hexagon unit is 15.5% smaller than traditional elastic loop arrangement (square), and that’s how we “MAXIMIZE” the use of space.

The EDCM Huge is big, but could do with another 2 inches of depth, and the same in height and width IMO. The MOLLE on the back is a fraction further apart than I'd like, which causes compatibility issues with other brand pouches.
It's only slightly larger than the Maxpedition Beefy, to give you an idea. You can only fit a little more gear in than the competitor product. The reviews I saw were quite misleading in this regard, so be aware.
Once you have it well packed with gear, the front pocket becomes fairly useless, as you just can't get anything in there. Some extra slack in the material would help. Also, a zippered front pocket would be better than the small piece of velcro, as a zipper encloses the whole pocket and not just a bit in the middle.
It is well made, as you'd expect, and the orange liner is a fantastic idea which makes seeing your gear much easier.
But overall, I am disappointed with the size, so be aware of it's limitations there. Instead of using it as a stand alone EDC bag, as I had hoped, I will purchase a larger shoulder type bag and use the EDCM Huge as an organiser inside it.

Vanquest's line of pouches are the perfect addition to keeping the contents of your EDC bag organized and accessible. I'm using the EDC-Huge as my "tech-cessory pouch." It carries all my charging cables and adaptors, backup power, USB storage/dongles, a network cable and adaptor, and even a bluetooth speaker.

Best in class - the other manufacturers don't have the straps at the bottom, nor as many pockets/loops. I had a 2016 model and had an issue with one of the loops, but Vanquest took care of me and allowed me to purchase this 2017 model at a slight discount. If you're looking for an EDC organizer, accept no substitues!!

I purchased this as an EDC bag to keep in my backpack or car with as much gear as I could fit in it. I have a full trauma kit and a ton of other EDC items that could prove useful. The quality is fantastic, it's rugged and exactly what I wanted. Take your time moving items around for the most efficient organizing and you will be able to fit everything you want. Thank you for a great product Vanquest!

Just the perfect size for EDC. Very high quality fabric and so many pockets you may want to carry too much. More is definitely better with this organizer. You won't be disappointed.

Great improvement over my old EDCM!! Now the front pocket is easier to access and it looks nicer too.

This review is intended for the improvements and not the pouch. The pouch's quality is excellent as always and I would choose it over competition anytime.
The improvements didn't meet my expectation and, in my opinion, surely didn't warrant the "2.0" next to the pouch's name. Even though it is true the front pocket is little easier to open but still not user friendly if the pouch becomes more full. A better improvement would be to redesign the front pocket so it would have its own capacity regardless if the pouch was full or not. For the key chain hooks, these are extra hooks connected back to back to each other.
I think you are better off buying the old one and saving the price difference (around $11), before they run out of course.
