ENVOY 3.0 improvements: (1) built-in collapsible bottle holders on both sides for 32oz (1L) Nalgene, (2) low profile MOLLE-Air structure that's MOLLE-compatible and loop-faced, (3) more internal loop fields for CCW and organization.
The ENVOY™ 3.0 Messenger Bag continues the design of our original ENVOY 1.0 that was considered to be one of the best messenger bags for everyday carry.
With the same internal measurements at 10" (H) x 16" (W) x 6" (D), the new ENVOY 3.0 now has two built-in bottle holders for 32oz (1L) Nalgene bottles. Bottle holders are collapsible for a more streamlined look. Front flap’s MOLLE-Air structure is low profile, and loop-faced for ID patches. Its removable shoulder strap offers better ergonomics, and is upgradable to the GT-COBRA™ Sling system.
Its padded laptop sleeve can store a laptop up to 15”. Top zipper opening lets you access your notepads, pens/markers, and multi-tools without opening the flap. It also has a luggage handle pass-through with hidden pockets, front admin panel, and plenty of loop fields for CCW & internal attachment. Total 22 pockets and slots for maximum organization.
For ultimate durability, the ENVOY 3.0 is made of genuine 1000-D Cordura® (500-D on Multicam & Multicam-Black) with Teflon® protector by DuPont®, high-visibility 210-D ripstop nylon interior, and YKK® zippers.
The ENVOY 3.0 is fully expandable with these optional accessories: Drop-In Organizer enhances the bag’s internal organization for your range gear or DSLR camera system. 5" MOLLE Sticks can attach MOLLE-compatible gear onto your ENVOY. You can also turn your ENVOY into a bike-messenger-style bag that rides high and comfortably on your back with a GT-COBRA™ Sling Strap that uses THE world-renowned ITW / AustriAlpin GT-COBRA buckle (non-metallic, crush-proof, and rated at 500-lb tensile strength)

Brilliant design. Enough pockets, durable materials, good balance, etc. Fits my 17 inch Lenovo (w/ extended battery) in the main compartment and fits my smaller machines in the dedicated laptop pocket. The "pass-through" pocket in the large flap is not a gimmick, it's hugely practical. Zippers are solid, and on and on. Used it primarily for a courier bag going back and forth to work, and liked it. It was when I took it on some trips that I realized that it was a keeper. My only wish (vs. complaint) is that it had some additional "clip" options (similar to what Maxpedition has for a key ring clip with their Testudo bag. No other requests. Before I bought this bag, I had been using the Testudo but had gotten it really nasty with some rotten fruit. In looking for a replacement, I also bought another Testudo, but wanted something that looked a little less "tactical". I also like this material better than that used by Maxpedition. It's more flexible because of that, seems like it will last longer. I probably spent 50 hours researching bags. I am not proud of that fact but I research things thoroughly before making a purchase. Not a bit of buyer's remorse. Kudos to Vanquest. Will buy their products again.

I searched for a long time to find a bag that could "do it all". This bag fits the bill. It is made of fantastic material and holds pretty much everything I want. Very rugged.

Bought specifically for business travel where I'm staying one night. Easily held macbook air, bose headphones (over the ear), small packing cube, dopp bag,FTIM SLIM and both a nalgene water bottle and a coffee mug.

The bag is of the highest quality as expected from Vanquest. I love the many compartments and the carry straps are comfortable. Only complaint is that it holds less than hoped. It's a little crowded with my 15" laptop on board. I will be buying gear from Vanquest in the future due to the durable construction and nice compartmentalization in this design.

Vanquest nailed this 3.0 Envoy in every respect. Top build quality combined with a well thought out design make this their best messenger bag for '16. Plenty of room for my Martial arts Gi and then some. Also makes a great range bag with plenty of space for ammo/guns to enjoy an afternoon on the firing line in style. If I had to list any negative, it would be that the Foliage green color option is now history across their entire line of gear. That said, the wolf grey color is my new (2nd) favorite and looks great. I've got quite a collection of Vanquest gear, and am always looking forward to what's coming out next. Fantastic job on this bag guys!!

First off, let me say that my work dell latitude 15.6" old bulky laptop fits fine with no issues at all. It's amazing how Vanquest is able to put so much organization and pockets without making the product look or feel bulky. I am blown away with the organizational capabilities of this bag. I went with the wolf grey and it looks amazing. The 1000D curdora is very soft and doesn't have that sandpaper maxpedition feel. The stitching, the pull cords, the molle, the zippers... everything is perfect. Other than my laptop I also have a few EDC items and some electronics in it. The main strap is very comfortable and the small non-slip pad really helps the bag stay in place when carrying. They even put velcro on the inside of the flap so that there is no openings on the side while the flap is shut keeping your contents clean and dry. Their customer service is first class. Thank you so much Vanquest you guys have gained a new loyal customer and I am currently in the process of selling all of my maxpedition gear to make room for more of your stuff.

I bought this as a sort of EDC bag. I've only been using it for a week but I've already had a chance to fly and go to work with it.
Flying was great. It was the only bag I took with me and it was comfortable and great for everything I brought. The top zipper was great for quick and easy access to my things.
I don't write reviews unless something is either really good or really bad. This is the former. Every inch of this bag was thought through. I expect this sturdily built, multifaceted bag to serve me well for a long time.

Bag is amazing , fullfills expectations .
As a pilot a travel alot and this bag helps haul all my flying equipment and gadgets .
Upgrades can be made and i hope are considered .
1.-wide mouth nalgene fits tight . One side could have been closed pocket for more storage .
2.- bottom liner could be from a different material so it can be placed on floor if needed .
3.- Phone pocket with velcro for strap would be nice to keep it at hand .
Excellent material and layout .
You will not be dissapointed .
