Measured at 19" (H) x 11” top / 8” bottom (W) x 5” top / 6” bottom (D), IBEX-20L is THE ultimate 20-liter multi-role backpack that “fillets-open” and gives you lightning-fast access to your gear. A continuous YKK #10 zipper opening with extra-large ITW zipperpulls offers you 270-degree top-to-bottom & front-to-back access to the foam-padded main compartment. Simple pull it open and you will have a full view of all gear laying right in front of you.
Delivered in a low profile package which blends into urban enviroments with an infinitely user-configurable main compartment, IBEX is both versatile and comfortable. Hook-and-loop panels line the inside of the foam-padded main compartment on all four walls allowing any configuration you may need.
Side compression straps adjust the width/thickness of the IBEX when needed, and prevent unintentional opening of the main compartment. Lockable YKK zippers provide additional security to your gear stored inside. Three built-in grab handles (one top, two sides) let you carry the IBEX in all three directions.
Like all Vanquest® products, IBEX is made with ultra-durable 1000-D Cordura® nylon (500-D Cordura® on MultiCam-Black), treated with water-repellent DuPont® Teflon for easy cleaning. Its construction means the IBEX-20 is up to any task in the field, and will be ready each time you need it.
IBEX's ergonomic & shock-absorbing shoulder straps come with load-lifters. Padded back with breathable mesh, adjustable sternum strap with an emergency side-release whistle, and a removable & height-adjustable waist belt further ensure the IBEX fits perfectly on you and let you carry heavy loads with comfort. The front panel features a hook-and-loop field with a shock-cord web to secure more of your gear on the outside. The face of the bag has been streamlined for a less tactical look.
Dual side pockets with YKK #8 zippers are ideal for hydration and radio storage. Each side pocket has an internal window opening for routing hydration hose or wire into the main compartment then exit to the main hose/wire port on the top backside of the IBEX. One-inch paracord loops for equipment suspension inside the side pockets are provided. MOLLE/PALS panels are found on the outside of the side pockets and on the bottom of the pack for additional attachment and expansion.
The shoulder strap can be used to swing the IBEX-20 to your front, and give you instant access to both the side or main compartment like our world-renowned VSlinger™ slingpacks.

This is a 90% copy of Arc'teryx Khard 20, you can tell that this bag is not made in any western country, lack of attention to details, typical Asian made bag, the Velcro inside the bag is not evenly stitched, the material that they use is Cordova 1000, which make this bag extra heavy comparison to Khard 20 which is made of Cordova 500. You do not want to drag this bag after a car to make it more resistance, 500 Cordora is good enough to resist the elements. such as bad weather rain, snow.

This is one of many Vanquest products I own. The pack is perfect for day hiking, a weekend away, airplane carry on for under your seat. I use it for my gym gear when not traveling. Very well built like all their products.

I'm not a rucker. I'm not a military-esque guy with guns and stuff. I just wanted a backpack that can fit my 15" Macbook Pro for work and hold gym clothes and a pair of sneakers.
I spent so long researching bags that fit my lifestyle and my body. I even bought a different one and returned it when I found this one. I love it. I use this to go to work and to do the occasional weekend travel.
It is so configurable and it has everything that makes a great bag:
— It opens all the way for easy packing and unloading.
— It is a smaller bag with removable waist belts and a chest strap (these are hard to find).
— I am 5’6” and it fits perfectly on my back without being too big.
— The 30L is all black, why can’t this 20L be all black? The camo is not pretty subtle, but it would really help push the urban commuter appeal.
— The buckle straps slip in and out really easily and don’t really ‘lock’ in place. They undo when you open it up and take it off, but they’ll stay in place if you tighten it on yourself.

price wise its a great bag overall, and if vanquest can step up from the competitor with updated version of ibex 20 i definitely will buy it and put a 5 star
some of the competitor
1. lbx titan 3 day map pack
2. cannae legion day pack
lbx titan is the strongest competitor with its
padded laptop compartment, hook and loop everywhere inside the bag, big hook and loop outside the bag to put pouch, while cannae legion have a good padded compartment for sunglasses, ccw compartment on backside. but both of them not sure about the zipper is waterproof or not

After falling in love with the IBEX-30, I felt I needed a smaller pack for EDC. I love the design. Just wish Vanquest had more variety in hook/loop pouches and accessories. The materials and features of this pack is what you would expect in high-end bags...top notch.

I decided to stream line how many bags I had so I pulled the trigger on the IBEX -20 during the Black Friday sale to be my primary bag. On a daily basis I carry a husky organizer on the inside, along with a 15 inch lap top in a MR lap top sleeve and a few EDC odds and end. Plenty of room for the EDC stuff, but the bag is not too big. On the outside I have mounted 7x10 IFAK with 4 down range gear female clips. The IFAK has full blow out kit and full first aid kit (a great product). I added side pockets made by ATS that fit perfectly between the top and bottom compression straps and house my 30 Yeti tumbler. On the bottom I mount two Mystery ranch compression straps again using the down range buckles.
I have EDC this bag every day since I got it and took it on many day trips with the kids, it has gone to zoo's, museums etc. It has housed lunch and drinks for five kids while being able to mount many jackets on the outside with the side compression straps and the additional straps I have added. The bag alone is plenty for EDC and day hike carry. Overall VERY pleased with it and my current set up and versatility of the bag. It has way more room than you would think with out being over sized. Also enough molle etc to give you the functionality but not over the top as to attract to much attention. Over all I give it a five, but will say when fully loaded the comfort leave is close to a 4 or 4.5 where the should straps come under the arms by the pits. Either way you can't go wrong, BUT IT !!!

Awesome bag from vanquest been contemplating between ibex20 and TAD litespeed, glad i made the right choice! this bag lighter than my 5.11 rush 12, fit comfortably better on my back, i only wish this back have hdpe insert sewn on the backside to give more rigidity when attaching heavy load pouch on the inside (i hook 14 inch laptop with sleeve weight around 2kg). overall ibex 20 score A-
this bag need creative user, endless possibility on how you organize the bag!
also thank you vanquest team, very good customer service which help me a lot through custom

I can't express enough how AWESOME this bag is. I use this for extreme travel adventures. I've compared this bag to others in my collection, and the results are overwhelmingly in favor of this bag over others in its category (e.g., TAD Litespeed, Arc', Max, etc.). Here's why: 1. The price (by far the best bang for the buck), 2. the weight (i can pack way more in this 20L than in my 22L litespeed, and did i mention the IBEX-20 is much lighter than the litespeed), 3. modular capability (i keep pouches loaded with different gear and I can put together a quick tactical kit much easier with the IBEX-20, 4. durability (trust me, it's very hard to damage this bag), 5. Fit and low profile (it hugs my back like it belongs there--perfect for urban situations), 6. theft deterrent (straps hide the zippers making it nearly impossible for thieves to target), and finally 7. THE PRICE! Thank you Vanquest for the PERFECT BAG!! I'm ordering another to use as a trauma kit. Try to compare this bag to others in its category, the IBEX-20 by Vanquest WILL WIN.
