Measured at 22” (H) x 13" top / 12" bottom (W) x 8” top / 10” bottom (D), IBEX-30L is THE ultimate 30-liter multi-role backpack that “fillets-open” and gives you lightning-fast access to your gear. A continuous YKK #10 zipper opening with extra-large ITW zipperpulls offers you 270-degree top-to-bottom & front-to-back access to the foam-padded main compartment. Simple pull it open and you will have a full view of all gear laying right in front of you.

Delivered in a low profile package with an infinitely user-configurable main compartment, IBEX is both versatile and comfortable. Hook-and-loop panels line the inside of the foam-padded main compartment on all four walls allowing any configuration you may need.

Side compression straps adjust the width/thickness of the IBEX when needed, and prevent unintentional opening of the main compartment. Lockable YKK zippers provide additional security to your gear stored inside. Three built-in grab handles (one top, two sides) let you carry the IBEX in all three directions.

Like all Vanquest® products, IBEX is made with ultra-durable 1000-D Cordura® nylon, treated with water-repellent DuPont® Teflon for easy cleaning. Its construction means the IBEX-30 is up to any task in the field, and will be ready each time you need it.

IBEX's ergonomic & shock-absorbing shoulder straps come with load-lifters. Padded back with breathable mesh, adjustable sternum strap with an emergency side-release whistle, and a padded removable & height-adjustable waist belt further ensure the IBEX fits perfectly on you and let you carry heavy loads with comfort. The front panel features a hook-and-loop field with a shock-cord web to secure more of your gear on the outside.

Dual side pockets with YKK #8 zippers are ideal for hydration and radio storage. Each side pocket has an internal window opening for routing hydration hose or wire into the main compartment then exit to the main hose/wire port on the top backside of the IBEX. One-inch paracord loops for equipment suspension inside the side pockets are provided. MOLLE/PALS panels are found on the outside of the side pockets for additional attachment and expansion.

The shoulder strap can be used to swing the IBEX-30 to your front, and give you instant access to both the side or main compartment like our world-renowned VSlinger™ slingpacks.

It’s Like They Read My Mind, So I Bought One And Because I Was Very Impressed By Tim, I Took A Chance And Bought Other Gear Too, And Man I Am So Happy, What A Backpack, The Best I Ever Got, The Design The Workmanship The Quality, Unbelievable I Will Never Ever Buy Anything Other Than Vanquest Again.

  2. Best pack on the market 5 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Jan 2017

Over the years I've used many, many packs all of which have had their positives and negatives. This is the first pack I've yet to find a flaw in its design. Extremely versatile. Fully customizable. Can be used as hiking/camping pack, hunting pack, bug out bag, or how I've used it as aneeded adaptable range bag. Extremely rugged nylon, zippers, clasps, etc. The best quality I've had to date. It's ability to open fully gives access that no other bag can. Extremely comfortable under heavy loaduty for extended periods of time. Can't say enough good things.

  3. Love this pack, can't wait for version 2.0 4 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Dec 2016

I bought the Ibex-30 for a day pack for hunting, hiking and rifle matches. Love the pack. The build quality is excellent! Love the flexibility of putting different compartment on/in the pack. I played around with this pack for quit a while before deciding to keep it. It felt very uncomfortable and awkward on my taller frame. I must say it is much more comfortable the more weight you put in it. I even loaded it up with 50lbs of ammunition just to see and it was fine, at 20 lbs it is a joy!.

If there was anything I would change about this pack, it would only be minor improvements.
1)I am a bigger guy (6'1") and find the straps to be a little short, especially compared to my Vertx Gamut.
    2) A taller version would be awesome for larger people like me to help get the waist belt to be a hip belt.
3)A frame sheet like the Vertx Gamut would make this even more comfortable with different loads of gear.
4)It would be great if there were small pockets or even flaps at the bottom of the sides of the bag to stick the feet of bipod legs or shooting sticks into. A full water bottle pocket is not needed with the large dual hydration pockets but just something to stop things strapped to the side from wanting to slip down.

It also would be great if Vanquest made a rain cover to go along with this pack as I plan to use this in some pretty harsh weather. A generic one from REI will have to do in the mean time.

All-in-all I love the pack! Built with great quality and exceptional flexibility. I even bought the Ibex-20 for a smaller pack for rifle matches where I would want a minimal yet highly organized load-out.I would highly recommend this pack and would certainly buy a couple more if a few modifications were made.

  4. Tactical meets practical 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Dec 2015

I have to admit, I love tactical gear. This IBEX-30 is probably the coolest and most functional pack I will ever own. The modularity is beyond compare (same with quality). I run this as a camera bag with the Drop-In Organizer for the Envoy bags. If your willing to pay a pretty penny, you will be beyond pleased with this bag. Good job Vanquest and keep up the good work! I plan on purchasing more gear soon.
P.S. You really need to release those mag pouches debuted at SHOT 2015!

  5. Best bag I have ever owned 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Nov 2015

This backpack is better than what I expected. This is by far the best backpack to travel that I have ever owned. I do like the organization of other backpacks but this one is a blank canvas that gives you the ability to do what you want and need.

  6. best bag I own! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Mar 2015

tactical/hiking bags are kinda my think it is my male version of a female purse you could say, this is my favorite bag by far without being my most expense bag. the features are wonderful there is just the right amount of MOLLE. It is very comfortable and adjustable to fit any contour of human. Ive been questioned by many of my work mates about cost and if they could try it on. The only thing I can harp on is I think the bag should be priced maybe 15-20 dollars cheaper. It could be because I'm cheap but again I probably have almost every tactical bag on the market.

  7. IBEX-30, Another hit 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Jan 2015

Just bought the IBEX-30 in Coyote tan. The IBEX-30 Looked smaller that my replaced pack, and I was about to send it back. I went head and packed the IBEX-30 from the old (which is still in new like condition.)pack and BINGO! I had room to spare. I put the IBEX on and what a difference it is. The whistle on the chest strap was a neat surprise and a good idea.
My wife wants one now, and there goes another old pack. Some one at Vanquest may have to take some time off to sell my old gear off.

  8. Very Spacious and Highly Customizable! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Dec 2014

I just received my IBEX-30 and I love it! This is a very functional/customizable/accessible bag. There are so many ways you can set this bag up. I'm a photographer and will be using it as my main bag. I have some cubes I purchased from F-Stop that fit perfect. Also, I'm impressed at how thick/padded the bag is which gives me that extra sense of protection for my camera equipment. After filling the bag, I threw it on and the fit was comfortable, even after removing my waistbelt. The waistbelt can be used as a separate accessory...I might put some pouches for lenses and accessories when my pack is not needed. The only improvements that I wouldn't mind seeing are elastic bands on the waistbelt to keep the slack organized and some velcro straps for the compression straps so you can roll up the slack on those. I currently own a number of Vanquest packs/gear and have not been disappointed. I might buy another bag for bug-out-bag.

  9. Loving my Ibex-30! 5 Star Review

Saw one of these bags at last weeken'd OC gun show and got it from one of your dealer. What an awesome 3-day pack you guy offer. Listing price is kinda high but after discount it was a great buy imo. Keep up your good work!
